Advice to Incoming Students
Take classes with a variety of professors, both in your field and out; all have a different perspective and style to offer you. Use this time to grow in your faith: you may never again be surrounded by such a large group of fellow Christians who can help you in your walk.
Why I Enjoy Teaching at Taylor
I love the smaller classes at Taylor, which allow me to give more personal feedback to students, especially majors. It is also an incredible blessing to be able to be open about my faith and to hopefully be a positive spiritual influence upon my students.
My hobbies are Running, weight lifting, writing in my cabin, drawing, reading, and making altered books. A little known fact is that I have run a marathon and nine half marathons.
I have been married to my husband Jim for over 30 years; we have four children, all of whom have or will graduate from Taylor: Kelsey (an English major), Nathanael (Bib lit.), Faith and Caitlyn (elementary education).
