Biography

Advice to Incoming Students

This is a truly magical time in your life and you will spend it a place where God’s presence it truly felt. Make the most of every opportunity but also discern when and how to say “no.” Faculty and staff at TU truly love young people and we celebrate all that you will accomplish here and beyond. We feel called to guide, nourish, and challenge you in partnership with the Holy Spirit Know that God sings over you in joy – Zeph 3:17

Why I Came to Taylor

We (my family and I) came to Taylor as an answer to prayer. We lived in Oklahoma for 9 years and loved our time there; but as God increased our family we prayed for the possibility to be in closer proximity to family in Chicago and NE Ohio. The university has been wonderful as a place to grow professionally and spiritually and this was evident from the moment I stepped on campus as a faculty candidate. Daily I am inspired to come to work where my colleagues are united in training and working with young people who love the Lord and want to share Jesus with a dying world. I am blessed to be encouraged and challenged here at Taylor.
