STULIFE Spiritual Life

Missions Trips

Taylor students are regularly engaged in outreach and service opportunities from across the street to around the globe. Many take part in short term Missions Trips during J-Term (referred to as Lighthouse) and Spring Break. There are a variety of international and domestic trips designed for students to use their gifts and talents in meeting the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of others. We encourage you to consider participating in what is often a life-changing missions trip experience during your time at Taylor.

Lighthouse Missions TripsLighthouse

As a Taylor student, you will find plenty of opportunities to learn and also plenty of opportunities to serve. Our Lighthouse program offers both. As part of this program, you will serve along side other Taylor students and faculty in an international service-learning project, sharing Christ’s redemptive love and truth with a world in need.

Along with learning about another culture, you will have the chance to join what God is doing around the world and step out of your familiar faith setting. This is a great opportunity to develop and exercise your gifts and abilities, and expand your global perspective, as well as explore your vocational calling.

Spring Break MissionsSpring Break Missions Trips

Taylor offers a variety of missions trip opportunities during spring break. Spending the week showing the love of Christ with those in need gives students the chance to apply what they have been learning in the classroom. There are opportunities to serve through both national and international missions. Share your faith through business development, children’s ministry, construction work, teaching English, family ministry, and evangelism. Recent destinations include: Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Poland, Russia, Spain, Daytona Beach, and Indianapolis & Marion, IN.
