Model and Structure
Global engagement at Taylor University is intended to be part of the total curriculum and student experience . It is hoped that every student will have an opportunity to become globally engaged in some fashion prior to graduation. The goal of educating students to be world Christians for a future that is impacted by globalization begins with the General Education courses, continues through their major field preparation, community engagement, Taylor World Outreach opportunities, participation at a global site, and affiliation with global partners. (Please see diagram.)
In this tiered fashion, the concept of global engagement truly stands as a major theme at Taylor University for the twenty-first century. The University is poised to become a dynamic model for other Christian institutions of higher learning.
