The Taylor University Wind Ensemble will present Musical Journeys on Wednesday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m., in the Rediger Chapel/Auditorium.
Directed by Dr. Albert Harrison, the 47-member Ensemble will present a program consisting of varied selections for band including marches, folk music, and sacred compositions.
Included in the program will be: The Liberty Bell March by John Philip Sousa, Variations on a Korean Folk Song by John Barnes Chance, Perthshire Majesty by Samuel Hazo, On an American Spiritual by David Holsinger, and Bayou Breakdown by Brant Karrick.
It will mark the Ensemble’s first concert in the newly-refurbished Rediger Chapel/Auditorium, now located in the LaRita Boren Campus Center. There is no admission charge and the public is invited to this event.
