Pastor Nirup Alphonse will be the featured speaker for Taylor University’s Fall Spiritual Renewal services, scheduled next week. He will speak Monday and Wednesday during the 10:00 am chapel hour, and also at 7:30 pm, Monday and Tuesday. All services will be held in the Rediger Chapel/Auditorium.
Alphonse is the founding and lead pastor of LIFEGATE Church in Denver, Colo. Originally from Chicago, Ill., he spent seven years on staff at a church in Fort Wayne, Ind. In 2014, Alphonse and his wife Hannah, along with over 40 people, moved to Denver to start the church. LIFEGATE is one of the fastest growing churches in the Denver metro area.
He holds a master’s degree in theology from Liberty University and a bachelor’s degree from Trinity International University.
“I’m really excited about Nirup being on campus for Spiritual Renewal,” said Jon Cavanagh, Taylor’s campus pastor. “He is a gifted preacher with deep knowledge of the Word, an understanding of people and the heart of a Pastor.”
The Alphonses are parents to three young sons, Jai (6), Elijah (2) and Kai (8 months).
