Investment Counselor, Taylor Alumnus Manuel Rosado Joins Taylor Board

Chicago area investment counselor and Taylor University alumnus Manuel Rosado has been named to the Taylor Board of Trustees. Rosado serves as Vice President and Partner at Spectrum Investment Advisors, Inc. His appointment takes effect immediately.

Rosado holds a degree in Business Administration from Taylor University (1993) and a MBA degree in Finance from Concordia University. He has 12 years of investment experience in the retirement plan industry. He is a principal of the firm, which manages assets of $750,000,000, and is the lead business development advisor. He is also responsible for 401(k) plan investment reviews, employee educational meetings and one-on-one investment consultations.

Rosado is the holder of numerous financial planning designations in Illinois and Wisconsin and prior to joining Spectrum was an account executive with the Principal Financial Group.

From 2007 until 2010 Rosado served on the Taylor University National Alumni Council. He is also active in several Chicago-area organizations that include: Riverdale Park Advancement Association, Inc., Eastbrook Academy, Eastbrook Church, Mequon-Thiensville Youth Baseball Association and the Mequon Recreational Department as a basketball coach.

Professional Affiliations include the Wisconsin Retirement Plan Professionals Ltd., National Retirement Partners, and Metro Milwaukee Society of Human Resource Management.

Rosado was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He and his wife Kari (a 1994 Taylor alumna) have two children: Raquel Isabela and Marcos Daniel.
