The Taylor University Lyric Theatre presents Stephen Schwartz’s musical Working. Three showings are scheduled: February 5 and 6 at 8:00 p.m., and February 7 at 2:00 p.m. All are in Taylor University’s Butz-Carruth Recital Hall, and tickets are $10.00.

The Taylor Chorale and Taylor Sounds vocal ensembles will present their annual Christmas program Sing Noel: Christmas Around the World this Saturday, December 5, in the cathedral-like atrium of the Euler Science Complex. The program features choral, brass, and string ensembles that will resound under the high ceiling as they play familiar and new music from around the world. From the opening processional to the final whispered note, Sing Noel will remind us again that the Savior came for all people, everywhere, ever.

This weekend, Taylor Theatre presents the first round of performances of The Marriage of Figaro, and music and theatre faculty welcome high school seniors to audition for Taylor’s new musical theatre major.

The Taylor University Wind Ensemble will present Music of the People on Monday, November 9, at 7:30 p.m., at Upland Community Church, 439 West Berry Avenue, Upland, Ind.
The Taylor University Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo will present Rhythm of the Night on Friday, Nov. 6, at 7:30 pm in the Butz-Carruth Recital Hall of Smith-Hermanson Music Center. The program will feature classic and contemporary big band jazz and combo music and is free to the public.
The Taylor Ringers have announced their plans for a fall tour in the states of Indiana, Illinois and Michigan.
