Taylor Theatre presents Andrew Bovell’s award-winning play When the Rain Stops Falling on February 24-25 and March 3-4 at 8:00 p.m., February 26 and March 5 at 2:00 p.m., at Taylor University’s Mitchell Theatre.

The Northern Wind Trio will present a free recital at Room 148 in the Smith-Hermanson Music Center at 7:00 p.m., January 20. Comprised of performers Tamir Hargana, Zac Economou, and Aaron Marsala, Northern Wind performs Mongolian throat singing, Mongolian fusion music, and some Middle Eastern tunes.
Dr. Minnita Daniel-Cox will be the featured musical guest for Taylor University’s 2017 celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, scheduled for Monday, January 16. She will present a lecture-recital at 7:30 p.m., in the Rediger Chapel/Auditorium titled, Highlights of the Dunbar Music Archive, during which she will perform works by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Betty Jackson King, Carrie Jacobs-Bond, and H. Leslie Adams.
Taylor University sophomore Hasun Yoo won the Collegiate Division of Marion Philharmonic Orchestra’s 27th Annual Concerto Aria Competition for young artists.
The Taylor University Theatre’s production of David Lindsay-Abaire’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play Rabbit Hole has been invited to participate in the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF).
