Dr. John M. Moore, Professor of Biology and Director of the Cuenca Program is serving this year as President of the Hoosier Association of Science Teachers Inc. Dr. Moore will serve during the 2013-14 year as President and will be the Conference Chairman and Past President for the state Professional Development conference in 2015.

Moore, a long-time science educator at Taylor, has served many years on the local, state and national levels of science education. He is currently involved in the Vision and Change program funded by the NSF and administered by the AAAS and HHMI.  

Moore is currently serving as the President of Indiana's science education professional society. Additional venues of service include:
