Cyril Eicher, Beloved Taylor, FWBC Alumnus, Dies at 100

Cyril Eicher

Cyril Eicher, a 1932 graduate of Fort Wayne Bible College and longtime faculty member at FWBC and Taylor's former Fort Wayne campus, died Friday at the age of 100 in Mooresville, Ind.

Cyril was a former professor, administrator and volunteer at the Fort Wayne campus. Until his move to Mooresville in September 2012, Cyril still volunteered one to two times per week at the Fort Wayne Alumni & Friends Resource Center. He had given over 2,000 hours of volunteer work in the past five years.

His viewing will be tomorrow, Tuesday, January 22, at D.O. McComb's Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue, Fort Wayne from 5 to 8 p.m. and 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, prior to his funeral at 11 a.m. at First Missionary Church, 701 W. Rudisill Blvd., Fort Wayne.

Memorials can be made to the Fort Wayne Alumni & Friends Resource Center and to First Missionary Church.
