Art Lessons Offered for Children

*After School Art: This program is open to any elementary student in grades 1-6. Lessons will be taught by Taylor art education majors and supervised by Professor Kathy Herrmann. Lessons will cover topics and media selected by each teacher. The program runs four consecutive Fridays from October 25-November 15, from 3:15-4:45. An art exhibit of the students' work will take place on Monday, November 18 at 7pm. The cost is $10.00 for all four lessons. Both lessons and exhibit take place in the Modelle Metcalf Visual Arts Center. These classes fill quickly, so please register early.

*Private Art Lessons:  
Lessons are for indiviuals or  small groups of students in grades K-12 and are taught by Taylor art majors. These lessons meet weekly for one hour long sessions. Classes for the Fall semeseter begin the week of September 23 and conclude the week of December 6. The day and time of the lessons will be arranged by the parent and teacher. A variety of media can be covered with an emphasiss in a particular area of interest to your child. Cost for lessons is $110 /semester for 1-2 students, or $160/semester for 3-4 students. All lessons take place in the Modelle Metcalf Visual Arts Center.
