Why I came to Taylor:
I love the warm, friendly atmosphere here. When I first started here everyone was so nice, I thought it was just because I was new. But then I came to realize that’s just how people are here; very friendly, warm, welcoming and caring.
Advice to incoming students:
Everything happens for a reason, even if you don’t understand why. Just be still, let go and trust in the Lord.
My husband Chris and I have been friends since the 7th grade and we have 4 children ranging in age from 13 to 5. Since they are all involved in activities like football, basketball, softball, t-ball, dance, show choir, and piano we spend a lot of our time going from here to there. Although we are busy we still make sure to have dinner at the table with each other; even if it means eating at 5:30 pm or 7:30 pm. That’s where we connect as a family and that’s very important to us.
Hanging out with my family, cheering on the Indianapolis Colts and the Cincinnati Reds, traveling, and cooking. I have been a blue belt in karate since 2002.
