Why I love teaching at Taylor:

I teach at Taylor because I love undergraduate students.  Traditional residential students between the ages of 18 and 22 are in a rich developmental time and it is a privilege to be alongside of students during this time of their lives.  It is a time when students are asking big questions like, who am I?, why am I here?, where am I headed?, what am I going to choose to believe?  Their values are being shaped and solidified. What a privilege it is to contribute to this process.  I teach at Taylor because it is a rich place to prepare students for vocational ministry.  My spiritual gifting to equip and encourage and teach are all in full use as we prepare students for roles in youth ministry, children’s ministry, college and young adult ministry, camp ministry, student development work, teaching English, church planting and other mission oriented opportunities.  I teach at Taylor because there are wonderful collegial relationships with my colleagues.
