Major Career Accomplishments:

My research on the effectiveness of a curricular approach (writing about writing: WAW) in the teaching of writing (both in FYC courses and across the curriculum) has resulted in a 30-page internal report discussing the results of a major 2-year study of writing at Taylor, one published article on basic writing curriculum, and a 2-year pilot study of Taylor’s basic writing program (currently on-going). I was awarded Taylor’s “Teaching Excellence and Campus Leadership” award in Fall, 2010.
