Kory Lynn Browder

B.S. Dance Performance, Ball State University

Experience

Performer, teacher, choreographer.

Lead roles in The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Nosferatu: A Vampire Ballet, Swan Lake, Cinderella, and Damn Yankees

Performed with Carnival Cruise Lines Entertainment, Ball State Dance Theatre, Anderson Young Ballet Theatre, and Ballet Legere Chicago, among others.

Trained with notable teachers including Trinette Singleton, Bill Evans, Lyn Elam, Ginger Farley, Laura Wade, and her long-time mentors, Lou Ann Young and Amy Whites Hanas.

Teaching credits include master and audition classes at Ball State University, Adjunct Faculty at Ball State University, master classes at Regional Dance America Midwest Festival.

Choreographed Thoroughly Modern Millie, A Christmas Carol, Godspell, Romeo and Juliet, and I Love a Piano for Taylor University, Little Women and South Pacific for Indiana Wesleyan University. In December 2014, Kory made her directing debut with The Nutcracker, a collaboration between the Community School of the Arts in Marion and the Marion Philharmonic Orchestra.
