Campus Activities

Many people ask, "What is there to do at Taylor?"  Most people are surprised to learn the answer takes hours to explain all the student activities, events, and service opportunities happening on campus on a weekly and monthly basis. Taylathon, Airband, wing/floor activities, World Opportunities Week, concerts, intramural sports, Wok Night, Community Plunge, guest lecturers, My Generation Night, spring break missions trips, student clubs, Youth Conference, the Trojan Film Festival, men's and women's ministries, leadership and discipleship opportunities, late night rounds of frisbee golf, and good conversations at Vecinos (our campus coffee shop) are just some of the many things one can do at Taylor.

Building Friendships

Whether it is playing intramural sports, studying in a group, racing cardboard boats on the lake, performing in a live show or making late night Taco Bell runs with your brother/sister wing, there are always fun and exciting experiences that help build friendships and Christian community.

Serving Others

From Youth Conference and after school tutoring programs to Habitat for Humanity and Realife, students have many service and ministry opportunities that need volunteers to love, encourage and serve children and families for Christ in our surrounding community.

Engaging Your Mind

At Taylor, developing the mind does not end at the classroom door. Student groups host evening lectures from professors, visiting authors, poets, artists and professionals. Films are screened and followed by lecture and discussion. Ethnic and cultural programs and experiences are offered. Guest speakers and forums discuss issues in leadership, current issues and popular culture. All of these programs and more challenge students to develop a thoughtful Christian worldview.
