Grandparents Day
A day planned to tie the generations together by inviting grandparents to campus to spend quality time with their grandchild/student, Grandparents Day is an annual event open to all grandparents of current students.
Visiting classes, attending chapel, eating with their grandchildren, touring facilities, hearing from University and student leadership, and fellowshipping with other grandparents are highlights of this popular day.
Venture for Victory Display Dedication
A display honoring the athletes who traveled with Don Odle, legendary Taylor University basketball coach, to Eastern Asia using sports as an outreach to minister to the people they met on their journey will be dedicated on Friday afternoon, April 28.
The first Venture for Victory team formed in 1952 played over 80 basketball games in two months, using the opportunities to witness to thousands of people. The display is dedicated to the late Don Odle and others who continued to support athletic teams traveling around the world to spread the Gospel through the medium of sports evangelism.
