Residence Life
It’s much more than a cluster of buildings.
Residence life at Taylor is more than that. Halls are intentionally integrated, so underclassmen are living with and learning from upperclassmen and vice versa. In living together, students are exposed to a variety of people and opinions, as well as a host of shared experiences.
The goal is to create an environment that encourages personal and spiritual growth and fosters the basic values of Christian community, such as consideration for others, integrity and self-discipline. Residence Hall staff work to facilitate this growth in partnership with Men's and Women's Programming.

Isaac Bryan, Campbell Hall Director

I am Isaac Bryan, the Residence Director in Campbell Hall. I was born and raised in Perkasie, PA, a small suburb outside of Philadelphia. After graduating from Taylor in 2011, my wife Emily (’10) and I began Taylor’s Masters of Arts in Higher Education program and will be graduating this spring. Emily currently works in the Spencer Centre for Global Engagement. This past May we celebrated the birth of our first child, Benjamin Cole.
Campbell Hall is one of three university apartments and is primarily occupied by seniors. The apartment building houses 60 male and female students. I work under Jon Cavanagh, who is the Director of University Apartments/Coordinator of Off-Campus Community and the Residence Director in Wolgemuth Hall. Together, with Jeff Strietzel, we are looking to further the University Apartments’ vision at Taylor.
It is a great privilege to be back at Taylor serving in Residence Life. I believe the residence halls provide a great opportunity to foster whole-person learning. When students live in Christian community with each other, they experience a unique opportunity to encourage and challenge one another to grow in Christian character as well as personal identity. The two Campbell Personnel Assistants and I hope to lead and come alongside the students of Campbell as they strive to build community in their apartments and on campus in their final semesters at Taylor. The goal is for students in Campbell to leave this place different than when they arrived due to their desire to be transformed and renewed.
