Sending servant-learners into the world

How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news. Romans 10:15Taylor Lighthouse Guatemala Trip 2012

Since 1972 Taylor's Lighthouse program has enabled students to gain unforgettable, life-changing experiences during Interterm studying and serving cross-culturally around the world. Teams are recruited in the spring, prepare in the fall and serve in January. Lighthouse is an exciting way to engage another culture while making a difference.

Recent Lighthouse destinations include: India, the Czech Republic, Paraguay, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Southeast Asia, Ecuador, Singapore and Thailand.  Check out trip reports on our blog and the most recent photo contest winners.

Lighthouse groups take a fall course (one credit hour) in cross-cultural ministry and team building to prepare for the field experience. In January, students earn three upper level cross-cultural credits while they engage in service projects, compassionate ministries, community development, teaching English, performing arts, leadership development, evangelism, discipleship and other ministries under the direction of faculty sponsors and international hosts.
