Rediger Chapel/Auditorium
10:00 a.m.
Taylor University annually presents a baccalaureate service as part of its commencement activities. Held during the last chapel service of the year, this event provides the opportunity for the delivery of a special message to the graduating class by a distinguished evangelical pastor or leader. Seniors and special guests are seated in reserved sections of the auditorium.
This year’s speaker is Daniel S. Wolgemuth '77, president/CEO of Youth for Christ/USA since 2005. Dan has a long and rich history with the organization. His father, Sam '38, served as president of Youth for Christ 1965-1973. Dan has served on the National Board of Trustees from 1995 to present. Before YFC Dan spent 28 years in corporate work, including eight years with General Electric.
Dan was elected to the Board of Trustees of Taylor University in 2006. In addition, he has written extensively and currently writes a weekly devotional message called “Friday Fragments” that is widely accepted within and without Youth for Christ.
