Elsman 17th at NAIA Indoor Nationals

After clearing her opening height of 10'10", pole vaulter Andrea Elsman finished in 17th place Friday at the 2009 NAIA Women's Indoor Track & Field National Championships in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Elsman narrowly missed her third and final attempt at 11' 3 ¼", the second height of the afternoon for the vaulters.
Brianna Shippy, a junior from Oklahoma Baptist, won the event with a vault of 12' 3 ½".
