Nystrom Victory Leads Lady Trojans at Home

Brianna Nystrom's victory in the high jump was the highlight of the day for the Lady Trojans as they hosted the 5th Annual Taylor Indoor Invitational. The meet attracted over 450 competitors from four states.
Nystrom started the day off just right as she held on to win a tight competition in a crowded field with a jump of 4'11".
Joining her with stand-out performances were Andrea Elsman who placed 2nd in the triple jump (35'.5), Alyssa Johnson finished 3rd in the mile run (5:35.98), as Janet Redding did in the 5000 meters (21.34.34).
Next week the Lady Trojans travel to the Indiana Wesleyan Invitational.
