Elsman Qualifies for NAIA Nationals in Opener

Junior pole vaulter Andrea Elsman picked up right where she left of in the spring of 2008 when she cleared 10'10" at Saturday's Indiana Wesleyan Invitational to earn a provisional qualification for the 2009 NAIA National Indoor Championship.
Elsman, who qualified for both the indoor and outdoor championships in 2008, seems well on her way to eclipsing the school record she set last season of 11'6".
Other Lady Trojans competing were: Meghan Young in the 200 meters, Stephanie Kenny in the 60 and 200 meters, and Brianna Nystrom in the high jump.
