Taylor Women's Soccer Falls to Urbana

The Taylor University women's soccer team fell to Urbana University 1-0 this afternoon. The loss drops the Trojans to 3-4-1 on the season.
In the 22nd minute of action, Urbana's Brooke Schultz dribbled through the Trojan defense unassisted to net the first and only goal of the game.
The Trojans held off six Blue Knight attempts following the momentum swing but could only muster three shots of their own, totaling nine for the game.
Emily Von Raesfeld led the attack for Taylor with three shots. Kelsey Lauffer and Leah Beck posted the only two shots on goal for the Trojans.
Shawna Lane recorded five saves marking her fifth outing of the season with five or more saves.
Taylor is back in action for their final match of a three-game home stand on Saturday when they take on Cincinnati Christian. The 1 p.m. start is the final non-conference game of the season for the Trojans.
