Men's XC has Five Named Scholar-Athletes

Five members of the Taylor University men's cross country team have been honored as NAIA Scholar-Athletes, the NAIA announced Friday.

Isaac Bryan - Taylor UniversityJeff Hubley, a senior sport management major from Gilford, N.H., receives the distinction for the second straight year. Matt Bane is a junior Christian education major from Merrillville, Ind. Isaac Bryan is a junior from Perkaskie, Pa., majoring in elementary education. Nathan Kirsch, a junior from Silverdale, Pa., majors in mathematics. Rounding out the honorees for the Trojans is Adam Schroer, a junior exercise science major from Bowling Green, Ind.

The NAIA Scholar-Athlete Award is given to junior and senior student-athletes who maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. A total of 170 men's cross country student-athletes are represented on this year's list of award winners.
