Lady Trojans No. 23 in NAIA Preseason Poll

The Taylor University women's basketball team has been tabbed the No. 23-ranked team in the land, according to the NAIA Division II Coaches' Top 25 Poll released by the association late Monday.
Taylor nabbed 115 points and slipped in at No. 23. Coming off a 21-12 season and a national tournament appearance, the Trojans were picked fourth in the MCC preseason poll.
Five different Taylor opponents for the upcoming season-Bethel (No. 4), Cedarville (No. 11), Indiana Wesleyan (No. 14), Saint Francis (No. 16), and Aquinas (No. 17)-appear in the initial Top 25 Poll.
Defending undefeated national champion, Morningside College (Iowa), received 15 of the 16 first place votes and 436 total points for the top spot in the poll.
The first regular season poll will be released on Monday, Nov. 30.
The Lady Trojans tip off their season on Nov. 7 at Wilberforce.
