MCC Honors Herschberger for Sixth Time

The Mid-Central College Conference has recognized Taylor University freshman Courtney Herschberger (Goshen, Ind./Fairfield) as the MCC Libero of the Week for the sixth time this season.

In a sweep over No. 15 Indiana Tech on Friday in the NAIA Match of the Week, Herschberger posted her best three-set dig total of the season with 22 digs. She also led Taylor with 14 digs in a 3-1 loss at NCAA Div. II 12th-ranked University of Indianapolis last Tuesday.

Herschberger has been Taylor's digs leader in 20 of 25 matches this season. Her 4.5 digs/set average ranks first in the conference.

A native of Goshen, Ind., Herschberger has helped lead the 24th-ranked Trojans to a 21-4 overall record and a 5-0 mark in the MCC.

Herschberger and the Trojans return to action this Thursday at Spring Arbor (Mich.).
