Men's Track Overview
The tradition of track and field at Taylor is a long and successful one. We have qualified fifty-two men over the past six years for competition at the NAIA National Championship Meet. Trojans have won seven individual championships, All-American honors fifty-two times, two Outstanding Performer of the Meet Awards as well as numerous NAIA Scholar-Athlete Awards. The team has won eleven Mid-Central Conference Championships and five of the past ten National Christian College Championships. However, Taylor Track and Field is about much more than championships and honors.
Our greatest desire as a coaching staff is for the members of our team to grow in their relationship with Christ while they are at Taylor. The camaraderie on our team runs very deep. The basis for this is that we are all brothers and sisters in Christ. He is the focal point of our meetings, our training and our competition. We have seen Him present us with opportunities to share His gracious love with those we come in contact with through track, as well glorifying Him through our competition.
The history of Taylor track & field is long and storied. All those who have competed here have had one thing in common; Taylor was the right place for them to attend college. It is a tremendous place to learn, grow and continue your developing relationship with Christ. As you look at your options for higher education we recommend you focus on all aspects of the institutions you consider, not simply the best place to continue your athletic career.
