Bryan Qualifies for Finals of Mile Run

Isaac Bryan executed a tactical race Friday to qualify for the finals of the 1 Mile Run at the 2009 NAIA Men's Indoor Track & Field National Championships, held in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Bryan finished fourth in his heat with a time of 4:21.11 to advance him to the finals of the event, tentatively scheduled for 12:35 p.m. on Saturday.

A sophomore from Silverdale, Pennsylvania, Bryan finished 4^th of 8 in his preliminary heat and grabbed the 10^th and final qualifying spot.  Azusa Pacific senior Aron Rono is seeded first heading into the finals with a time of 4:14.68.
