Trojans 6th at NCCAA

The Taylor men's track & field team placed sixth at the 12-team NCCAA Indoor Championships hosted by Cedarville University. A runner-up finish by the distance medley relay team topped the Trojans' day.

The sophomore quartet of Nate Kirsch, Bryan Allingham, Brian Tencher, and Isaac Bryan set a school record on their way to an NAIA automatic qualifying time of 10:22.74.

Senior Ian Brown, coming back from an injury, ripped of a 22.79 in the 200 meters for third place. Bryan came back two hours later to place fourth in the mile run with a time of 4:20.27.

Brown was joined by Kyle Cassidy, Heath Clark, and Dave Voss for the 4x200 relay where they placed fourth in 1:33.

Brad Wetherell led off the 4x400 relay with Cassidy, Voss, and Clark to finish third in 3:27.03

Michael Pabody and Bryan Allingham also garnered fourth place finishes in the 3000 meter run and 400 meter dash respectively.

The DMR team will compete at the NAIA Indoor Championships on March 5-7 in Johnson City, TN. Bryan will be competing in the open mile as well.
