Johnson Leads Lady Trojans to 2nd at IWU

Senior Alyssa Johnson won the individual title to lead the Lady Trojans to a second place finish at the IWU Wildcat Invitational on Saturday morning.
Indiana Wesleyan won the meet with 23 points, TU had 51, St. Joseph's College placed third with 86 and Grace had 87.
Johnson's time of 19:12 for the 5,000-meter distance was her best this season. She was followed by Hilary Pederson in 11th place at 19:57, Ashley Henry was 13th in 20:02, Tabitha Bogue placed 17th with a time of 20:16 and Kirstin Heglein rounded out the top five in 18th wiith a 20:23.
The Lady Trojans totaled 1:39:51 for their top five, the best performance of the season thus far.
