Robertson 12th in Steeplechase at NAIA

Tom Robertson placed 12th in the finals of the 3000-meter steeplechase at the 2009 NAIA National Championships as the Trojans tied for 27th place in the team race.
Robertson, a junior from Souderton, Pennsylvania, faced brutal heat in the mid-afternoon race, but came through in fine fashion, posting a 9:28.06.
Head Coach Ted Bowers was very pleased with the Trojan performances at the Championships, "The guys posted four season bests and two personal records that will move them up on our Top Ten list. Combine that with Scott's title in the long jump and it was a tremendous week for us. I am extremely proud of this group of men."
