Johnson Sets New Standard to Pace Lady Trojans

Alyssa Johnson broke her own school record in the 1500 meter run today at the NCCAA Championships to finish second in 3:37.78, ranking her 11th in the NAIA. The Lady Trojans finished 11th in the 15-team meet which was won by Malone University.
Morgan Achterfhoff placed fourth in the 400 meter dash at 1:00.38.
Achterhoff was joined by Stephanie Kenney, LaJoya Smith, and Johnson in the 4x400 relay where the Lady Trojans finished in fifth position with a 4:02.55.
In the 4x100 relay, Kenney and Achterfhoff teamed with Cassie Vaflor and Christine Williams to finish seventh with a time of 51.69.
