Lady Trojans Qualify for NCCAA Finals

Morgan Achterhoff led the TU track and field squad through preliminary rounds on Friday at the NCCAA Championships by posting the top time in the 400 meter dash.

In the Lady Trojans' only running final of the night, the quartet of Alyssa Johnson, Colleen Getz, Kirstin Hegelein, and Ashley Henry placed ninth in the 4 x 800 relay.

Achterhoff was joined by Stephanie Kenney, LaJoya Smith, and Amy Malinowski, to easily qualify for the 4 x 400 finals.

Saturday's finals begin at 11:30 am at Indiana Wesleyan.
