Welcome to Taylor University from the Financial Aid Office!

Information for our New and Transfer students...

Welcome!  We encourage you to browse our website for important information that you will need for the Financial Aid process here at Taylor University.  Please let us know if we can ever be of assistance.

If you are a transfer, international, athlete, TU Graduate Student, or TU Online Student, Nathan Chu is your guy!  He works in both the Financial Aid and Admissions Offices, and is here to help you! You can contact Nathan at nathan_chu@taylor.edu or by calling either office at 1-800-882-3456, and ask for Nate Chu.

What to Expect From Our Office...

1.  If you have applied to TU in the fall, and have received your acceptance from the Admissions Office, you will receive a letter from our office in January or February giving you instructions on how to apply for Financial Aid at TU.  This letter will also include your TU ID#.  Make sure you watch for this letter, and when it is received, keep it in a safe place for future reference.

2.  After filing the FAFSA, you need to visit your TU Financial Aid website at https://myfa.taylor.edu and check the documents status.  Submit any required documents to us as soon as possible.  We cannot complete your aid package until we have received all required documents for your file.

3.  You will receive reminder emails from us every 3 weeks or so if you have not turned in the required documents. Make sure you are forwarding those on to your parent's email address.

4.  Once your package is ready, you will receive another email from our office telling you to go back to https://myfa.taylor.edu to view the AWARDS tab.  You will not receive a paper copy of your Award, it is available to you online 24/7 for your convenience.

 5.  Make sure you give Admissions your correct Email address, and keep it current.  This is how we will contact you with any important requests or information.
