Psychology Department

The Psychology department at Taylor University integrates comprehensive study of the human mind with the Christian faith.  The department’s aim is to educate and prepare students for study and/or professional responsibilities after graduation, also equipping students to minster the redemptive love of Christ to a world in need through the practice and understanding of psychology.

All students are required to complete either a practicum or a research experience. And many students participate with faculty on numerous research projects throughout the academic year and summer months.

Psychology students are equipped for careers in a variety of fields including mental health, social welfare, and ministry.  Most students eventually obtain advanced degrees.
