School of Business
The overarching goal of the School of Business is to equip students with the tools necessary to engage in a life of servant leadership characterized by lifelong learning, innovation, excellence, and ethics in organizations around the world.
Undergraduate students begin their exploration of business in Business Basics Boot Camp, a course in which students are introduced to the major business disciplines, launch a new virtual business venture, develop teamwork skills, and engage in guided self-exploration. Integration of faith and learning complements this experience and provides a solid foundation for any business major.
The curriculum combines business theory, principles and techniques taught as practical application. Relevance of the Christian faith to current, real-world situations is emphasized in the classroom, and on-site visits, meetings, and guest speakers challenge students to expand their understanding of business. There are numerous opportunities for real world impact within the School of Business including student organizations such as Students in Free Enterprise, Taylor Entrepreneurship Club, and the Endowment Team.
