The Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended by the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 (HEOA), requires institutions participating in federally funded financial aid programs to make information about the institution available to current and prospective students. Taylor's Career Development Office collects survey data from alumni nine months after graduation. Full reports are available for evaluation. We want to provide you with accurate data, but also want you to be informed consumers. As you research this same information at other schools, don't just compare a random statistic that is offered; ask for their official data so that you can review comparable data. Each will report information in different formats, so we have created a blank chart for you to print off and use for your comparisons.
Taylor's summary includes the following descriptions of graduate pursuits:
Full Time Employment: graduates who obtained full time employment
Graduate School: those who identified themselves as attending graduate or professional school
Part Time Employment: graduates who have obtained part time employment
Other: graduates who are pursuing nontraditional activities which may include service and ministries as well as travel experiences before entering the job market
