Academic Program in France

Through participation in the Academic Year Abroad Program of Bowling Green State University, students have the opportunity to earn 12-15 hours of credit while studying for a fall semester in France.

The program provides study at the Alliance Française in Sorbonne, Paris in September followed by study at the highly respected Institut d'Etudes Française de Touraine in Tours, France.

Students live in residence halls in Paris and with carefully selected French families in Tours.

"Going to France was the best thing I could have done to improve my French.  You don't realize how much you know (or don't know) until you immerse yourself in the language and culture.  It was an incredibly fun learning experience." -- April Lerch
