SP and CC Courses

Listed below are courses that include content which satisfies a University "speaking" or "cross-cultural" requirement.  All baccalaureate students must complete at least two "SP" courses, beyond the foundational core (FCC) requirement of CAS 110 or CAS 120.  Note: If a student completes both CAS 110 and CAS 120, one of the courses may count as an "SP" course for the student, leaving one additional "SP" course required.  All baccalaureate students must also complete at least one "CC" course.  Note: Simply traveling abroad (for a week or even a semester) does not necessarily meet the cross-cultural requirement.  The courses listed below are included in the course descriptions in the academic catalog under the specific department.  Additional courses, including study abroad courses, may also meet SP or CC courses; see the specific department or Off-Campus Programs for details.  Note: A course may meet a "CC" and/or "SP" requirement as well as one additional FCC requirement.

Courses listed might be approved for the entire department (*) or specific faculty (**).  Students should verify the "SP" or "CC" is attached to a course upon registration and should verify with the instructor/syllabus the first week of class.
