Russian Studies Program

Students discover firsthand the richness of the Russian language, culture and history through a unique living/learning semester abroad sponsored by the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities.

The Russian Studies Program's (RSP) home base is Nizhni Novgorod, located on the Volga River 230 miles east of Moscow in the Russian heartland and the focus of post-Communist economic reform. Travel and study in Moscow and St. Petersburg are an integral part of the curriculum. Students are housed with carefully selected host families for the majority of the semester.

The program allows students to participate in a service project and to earn 16 credit hours.
