Photo of Students on the Great WallThe China Studies Program (CSP) enables students to engage this large and intriguing country from the inside. Students explore the complexity of one of the world's oldest cultures as they study the standard Chinese language, geography, history, religion and culture.

Students live in the seaside port city of Xiamen on the campus of Xiamen University. Travel throughout China to places such as Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an and Hong Kong is an integral part of the semester. A service opportunity provides interaction with Chinese young people.
