Get your fill of new books from the library!

03.03.2007

The Taylor University Libraries have several RSS feeds which announce the addition of new books to their combined collections. With any news reader that handles .9x RSS format feeds (including the one available through myTaylor) you can discover what new items the libraries have to offer as soon as they are available!

Each "news item" contains a title which links to the full record in the Taylor University Online Catalog. The titles are published as they are added to the catalog. The New Titles feed is intended to announce every new item, where the others are intended to be a subset of the new additions filtered by disciplinary categories.

Each feed includes items added to the collections for either the Calvin H. English Library in Fort Wayne or the Zondervan Library in Upland, so it is prudent to identify the library from which the item is available. For items added to the Calvin H. English library collection, you can always fill out the appropriate Interlibrary Loan form (Book/Periodial/DVD). It shouldn't take more than a day or two to get the item.

Please note that some news readers will filter out duplicate entries if subscribed to more than one of these feeds. This can give the illusion that one of the feeds (i.e. the New Titles feed) does not provide a complete list of new titles.

Here are the names and RSS links of the new book news feeds available from Zondervan Library:
