Residency at LCC
Students enjoy the community of their cohort throughout the two-year program. Class sessions and the shared cultural experiences during residencies bond students at the onset of the program in August with a week-long residency held at the LCC campus in Klaipeda, and again in January.
Klaipeda was established by the Teutonic Knights in 1252, and is now Lithuania’s third-largest city. WW2 devastated many of the cities oldest sites and led to a population turnover from German to Russian. Most citizens are only second-generation residents of Klaipeda. However, Klaipeda is the only port in Lithuania, and attracts thousands of tourists with its summer sea festivals, regattas, museums, and beaches.
