School of Professional and Graduate Studies

Welcome to the School of Professional and Graduate Studies  where we are fulfilling Taylor's mission by ‘ministering the redemptive love of Jesus Christ to a world in need' through involvement in local businesses, schools, and not-for-profit organizations.  This school, created in 2008, consists of five (5) undergraduate departments and the graduate school that oversees four (4) programs.  The undergraduate areas prepare our Taylor students in fields of business, education, physical education and human performance, social work, professional writing (NEW! 2009 Fall semester).

Our Graduate School programs include master's degrees in Religious Studies, Higher Education, Environmental Science, MBA (Masters of Business Administration), and the Transition to Teaching program.  These programs include traditional semester-based programs in Upland as well as innovative online/residency programs offered at multiple locations.

Faculty and students in the School of Professional and Graduate Studies frequently partner with local organizations to conduct research and provide consultative services and technical assistance.  The school is striving to apply theoretical and research findings in ways that improve the community, organizations, and ministries across the country and around the world.

Please join us in experiencing excellent preparation for the professional world by exploring the majors and minors within the school.  Graduate options may resonate with the call of God on your life to prepare you beyond the undergraduate level.  Several of our masters programs have been designed to enable TU students to complete their graduate degree after just one additional year of study beyond the baccalaureate level.
