Overview

This degree is designed for students who are primarily interested in a liberal arts degree program with a focus in music.  This broadly based degree program has as its foundation the study of music, history, theory and literature.  The program prepares students for diverse career opportunities or graduate study.

Curriculum

The bachelor of arts degree with a major in music requires completion of 52-53 hours and two years, sequential study in one foreign language.  Voice majors are required to take French or German to meet the language requirement.
