Taylor's history majors enter a variety of careers, including:- History-related vocations (e.g., museum directors and curators, archivists, government and industrial historians)
- Teaching
History is useful as general background for:
- Ministry
- Law
- Library science
- National, state or local government
- Business positions
Many of Taylor's history graduates also work in the international arena in:
- Federal government
- International organizations
- Humanitarian work
Most of these professions, such as law or the ministry, require graduate study. Most seminaries, law schools and graduate schools of library science and business look upon history as an excellent undergraduate major.
