IABC Article
Preparing your tomorrow . . . today
We've always heard that networking is the key to finding a career. Now that Taylor has started a new chapter of IABC (International Association of Business Communicators), students can start their network now.
The IABC is a well-known global network of communicators from all fields who "identify, share and apply" effective communication practices.
Taylor students will join other members from around the globe to gain valuable student leadership opportunities, professional networking experience and exclusive internships.
The IABC also offers a mentorship program where students are paired with a professional IABC member for advice, a networking opportunity, and a friendship.
Several conferences throughout the year are open to all members of the IABC. These conferences help to build a great resume, inform students how to begin networking, give professional tips and more.
The IABC is one of the may great reasons to be involved in communication, and gives you a jump start to choosing your career.
