Overview

The purpose of a major in philosophy is to provide students with a basic understanding in the main areas of philosophical inquiry, thereby furthering their skills in reasoning, oral and written expression, and the formulation of an informed Christian world view.

Curriculum

A bachelor of science degree with a major in philosophy/systems requires the 30-hour philosophy major requirements; curriculum requirements in systems analysis; and the writing of a scholarly paper in the senior year to meet the comprehensive exam requirement.  All systems curriculum courses must be completed with a grade of C- or better.
