Taylor University Intercultural Research
The Taylor Intercultural Research Team has spent three years surveying, interviewing, and studying students before and after they go on an intercultural trip. These include study abroad, Lighthouse, spring break, and other short term academic experiences. This study evaluates the effects of intercultural experiences on undergraduate students and has provided some valuable results. Analyses of all of the data that was accrued through surveys and interviews has shown significant differences between students with varying levels of intercultural experience, supporting the hypothesis that intercultural experiences do, in fact, positively impact students.
